GLAUK — Sound Emotion

The future of sound
is invisible.

GLAUK dissolves the loudspeaker into the architecture and the design itself.

A new dimension of sound.

The surface becomes the source.

No grilles. No boxes. Nothing to see.

The PWR system attaches to the hidden face of the finish. The complete assembly rises into place. Nothing remains visible.

Wood panel

Warm & deep

Timber breathes. Its lighter, flexible body resonates generously, giving music a rich, full-bodied warmth, the same physics as the soundboard of a fine guitar. GLAUK’s crossover filters let the panel sing while keeping every note precise.

Wood and plasterboard follow GLAUK lab measurements on 100 × 60 cm samples: pink noise, 1 W at 1 m. Over 400 surfaces have been characterised. The finish sets the tonal signature, the PWR system sets output and coverage.

Detail comparison · Wall section

Invisible sound should not cost you your wall.

Every other speaker is plastered into the wall: a cut-out, a back box, a panel that replaces part of your assembly, and a skim coat applied to the millimetre. GLAUK mounts to the back of the finish you have specified. Full invisibility. No opening, no back box, nothing to detail.

Acoustic engineering

A wall only performs if it’s still a wall.

Sound behaves like water. It never spreads itself politely across a wall looking for the thickest part; it finds the one weak point and pours through it. That is why a partition is rated by its worst path rather than its average, and why one small opening decides whether your guest can hear the suite next door.

A back box reduces this but never removes it. GLAUK creates no opening at all, so the question never arises.

The example below shows what happens with traditional speakers, which cannot guarantee 100% closure.

0%2.5%5%

0.0% open drawn to scale

Designed for 40 dB. That is what you thought you bought.

An unsealed gap of 0.0% means you are actually getting 40 dB.

0%
of your insulation, gone
In plain words One percent of a wall can undo the other ninety-nine. On a 40 dB partition, an opening that small passes about a hundred times more sound than the whole rest of the wall stops. GLAUK cuts nothing, so there is nothing to seal. The wall you specified is the wall you hand over.

Outdoor systems · GREEN DREAM & UNDER DECK

The landscape is the concert.

Imagine walking through a garden with music all around you and not a speaker or a wire in sight. The sound comes out of the landscape itself, and the landscape looks exactly as it was drawn.

Invisible in the lawn Buried beneath the turf, with only its two round discs sitting at the surface.
Nothing cut into your floor UNDER DECK fixes between the joists under decking and raised floors, indoors or out, so the surface itself is never cut. No holes, no grilles.
Even sound everywhere Several quiet sources spread through the space, instead of one loud speaker tower.

One garden. Every hiding place.

Step into a GLAUK landscape and the whole space is playing. The decking, the seating wall, the planting beds, the paving underfoot. Every red point is a GLAUK system hidden in the landscape. You hear all of it and see none of it.

The surround

The home cinema unit. In Surround and Dolby Atmos systems it mounts on the side and rear walls to place effects around the listener, or on the ceiling for a sound shower overhead: rain falling, a helicopter passing, a voice echoing across a hall.

Nothing in the room to turn toward. The sound is simply there.

One space. Every surface playing.

Nothing in this room looks like a speaker, and all of it is one. The desk, the paneling, the wallpaper, the ceiling, the mirror, the sofa, even the planter. The GLAUK system is hidden inside the architecture, turning the whole room into an immersive sound experience.

Bespoke acoustic study

We don’t sell speakers. We study your space, understand your needs, and provide you with a comprehensive sound solution.

Every great project starts with an acoustic study and analysis of your space. Our engineers look at each surface, material, room size and volume, then provide a sound system solution. With the proper combination of GLAUK PWR units, you get a full understanding and plan before anything is procured or installed.

01

Space and material survey

We map every wall, ceiling, material and finish. Each carries its own resonance.

02

System and quantity plan

We decide which PWR systems the space needs and how many, matching each one to the surface it will sit behind and to the sound that room has to make.

03

Drawings you can build from

You receive the full acoustic study and marked-up drawings, so your architect, your installer and your electrician are all working from the same set.

04

Tuning

After installation, each surface is tuned until the space itself sounds to perfection.
